Thank you so much for your generous donations for the 12th annual Thanksgiving Basket distribution and Christmas at The Mission in New Caney for 2007. 

Food, gifts, quilts, clothing, gift cards, volunteering, prayer support, financial support, shopping trips and fundraisers…..what a  testimony of your giving heart and desire to help those who have fallen on hard times.  The Mission has a relationship with all the families who qualify for assistance during the holidays, so it is a wonderful time of celebration for a great year.

 The families include GED and ABE (Adult Basic Education) students, ESL students, job training students, single moms or dads working or going to college, grandparents raising grandchildren, disabled adults with children in the home, students of our summer program “Mission: Possible!” and recommendations from local pastors and schools.

As 2008 begins, we pray God’s blessing of each of you and thank you for carrying out His work through The Mission in New Caney.
