Checks mean a great deal. Mission Northeast, P. O. Box 1207, New Caney, TX 77357-1207. We do not receive mail at Loop 494.
Bring items
Drop off food, hygiene, and household goods Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–11:30 AM, or by a confirmed appointment. Closed Fridays. We do not pick up by truck.
What we always need
These needs do not expire after the holidays. A food or product drive with your church, school, workplace, or neighborhood is one of the most practical ways to help. Checks are welcome too.
Food
Shelf-stable groceries a family can cook this week.
- Peanut butter and jelly in plastic containers
- Macaroni and cheese, cereal, and oatmeal
- Hearty soups, canned meats, and canned tuna
- Canned corn, canned tomatoes, and pasta sauce in plastic containers
- Dry pasta, including spaghetti
- Rice in one- to two-pound packages
- One-pound packages of beans, such as pinto or great northern
Personal care
Full size or travel size is welcome.
- Deodorant
- Toothpaste and toothbrushes for adults and children
- Shampoo, lotion, and soap
- New combs and brushes
- Shaving cream and razors
- Feminine products
- Toilet paper
Household
The everyday supplies that keep a home going.
- Laundry detergent and bleach
- Hand dishwashing liquid (not dishwasher detergent)
- Cleaning supplies
Housewares
New or gently used, clean, and in good condition.
- Dishes and flatware
- Pots, pans, and crock pots
- Hand can openers
- Sheets, blankets, and bath towels
- Seasonal fans
Diapers and clothing
Clothes can be gently used.
- Diapers, especially sizes 4, 5, and 6
- Pull-Ups and baby wipes
- Underwear for all ages and sizes (new only)
- Children’s clothing and shoes
- Men’s belts, shoes, and new undershirts
Holiday food and gifts
Extra items that make Thanksgiving and Christmas distributions possible. Food that arrives after Thanksgiving is used at Christmas. Call and ask for this year's deadlines so everything arrives in time.
- Canned sweet potatoes
- Stuffing mix
- Gravy mix
- Canned chicken broth
- Canned frosting (not cake mix)
Toys and gifts for boys and girls from birth through age 12. For teens, $15 gift cards from Walmart, movies, fast food, and similar stores. Each teen receives two cards.

- Large appliances, furniture, and mattresses

- Stained or broken items
We cannot collect large items, and we do not offer truck pickup.
